I never really went along with it, I loved pot at the time and was content just to get stoned and lay around. Then they all started to get into Cocaine and Pills. Their first three albums are masterworks and seeing them live is as close to a religious experience as I have ever had. For me, Arcade Fire are the best band of this century and probably one of the best bands there has ever been.
